Job's Beyond the Mountains of Madness

James Starkweather's Challenge

Time: 7:10 p.m. (ship time) – Monday 25th September, 1933
Location: U.S.S. Gabrielle’s Refrigerated Hold – off Tweendeck Hold #4

James Starkweather dragged Doug’s limp body down the aisle to the corner of the refrigerated compartment, but because of the tight confines of the area—and also the cold and damp metal flooring—he struggled to get the leverage necessary to pull the body around that corner. He lifted his left foot and braced it against a set of shelves, then pushed off against the rack, heaving backwards while pulling on Doug’s arms. The body turned over slightly, twisting, and suddenly flopped past, causing Starkweather to lose his grip and fall to his back on the floor, bouncing his skull off the metal plating with a “Thwack!”

“Uhhnn,” James groaned as he sat up, rubbing the back of his head, feeling quite dazed. The sharp ammonia gas quickly cleared his head and he then stood and renewed his efforts to save his crewman, attempting to get the unconscious man ever so nearer to the refrigeration compartment’s doorway. Where the devil is Mister Raknes?, James thought while coughing from the ammonia gas.

Coming Soon! (Under construction)

Now that I have my homepage in somewhat-reasonable shape, my next project is to add a few adventure logs that will let folks know what’s been happening in this campaign.

So I’ve been working on a custom navigation bar and also custom boxes to contain the logs. If you’re interested, here is a link to my Testing page. I expect that I’ll have my first log up within a week or so.

Start at the Beginning - Portal Creation

Today I started this Obsidian Portal campaign page for my players’ BtMoM campaign. More details to come.
